Myrta Rosa currently lives at 349 West Grand Street in Elizabeth NJ. Myrta has solidified her advocacy skills as a 2007 graduate of the Partners in Policymaking program through the NJ Council on Developmental Disabilities. Myrta serves as the second Vice President  for Community Access Unlimited Helping Hands Self Advocacy Group. Myrta is also a member of the New American Movement  for People with Disabilities where she attended and completed an 8 week training course and graduated from the Sid Katz Mentorship Program here at Community Access Unlimited (CAU) to become a mentor. Myrta has been a CAU Board Member since June 2012 and works part-time in the Accounting department at CAU on Mondays,Wednesdays and Fridays. In July 2017 Myrta was voted by Council members  from the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities as new Vice Chair for the next two years. Myrta is also proud of her work at the voting polls where she ensures that all people with disabilities get there votes in and have there voices heard by voting.  Myrta is a dedicated self-advocate with years of experience working toward a better future for New Jerseyans with developmental disabilities, both at the NJCDD, CAU and other advocacy organizations within our state.
